+ What is it?

Get ready for an unforgettable musical experience at the Top Brass Celebration Concert on 8 July 2025 at Portsmouth Guildhall!

This exciting event is a celebration of all the incredible progress made by schools who have received whole-class brass tuition this year.

Schools are invited to participate in a day full of dynamic workshops and live demonstrations led by the Bollywood Brass.

The day will culminate in an interactive concert where students will join forces with live musicians to sing and play, together.

+ When is it?

The Top Brass Celebration Concert will take place on Tuesday 8 July 2025 from 10:00am until 2:30pm at Portsmouth Guildhall

+ What will schools have to do?

• Attend a twilight online planning meeting on 7 May
• Attend the celebration concert on 8 July
• Arrange transport to/from the Portsmouth Guildhall
• Schools will need to have practiced the 'Brass!' song in advance
• Children will need to bring a packed lunch with them

+ What are the timings for the day?

• Schools will need to arrive from 10am to be seated by 10:40am
• Bollywood Brass will lead an interactive workshop between 10:45am - 12:00pm
• There will be a lunch break between 12:00pm - 12:45pm. Schools will need to bring packed lunches with them. Lunch will take place in the Guildhall Auditorium (if the weather is suitable, schools may wish to have lunch outside in the surrounding areas)
• The celebration concert will take place between 1:30pm -2:30pm

+ Will parents and families be able to attend the concert

• Parents, carers and families will be invited to attend the 1:30pm concert for free. Tickets will be limited and further details regarding tickets will be released shortly
