Get ready for an unforgettable musical adventure, Sing Around the Dockyard at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
+ What is it?
On 13 June, Year 2, 3, and 4 pupils are invited to embark on a free exciting journey through the iconic dockyard, visiting historic ships and soaking up the rich maritime history of Portsmouth.
Along the way, they'll sing lively sea shanties and songs about Portsmouth that echo the spirit of the sea.
With the sounds of music and history blending together, it’s going to be a day of discovery, fun, and unforgettable memories!

+ When is it?
Sing Around The Dockyard will take place on Frdiay 13 June 2025 from 10:00am at Portsmouth Hisotric Dockyard
+ What will schools have to do?
- Attend the twilight session on Tuesday 25 March at 4:30pm on Zoom.
- Teach 6 songs prior to the 13 June (2 Community Songs and 4 Allocated Choir Songs)
- Arrange transport to the Dockyard
- Attend performance on 13 June

Schools have been allocated into 4 different groups. You will travel around the Dockyard in these allocated groups. At each stop you will perform to each other, a song from each allocated choir song.
